By accessing or using stackmoney.in (“Stack Money”, “we”, “us”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

1. Nature of the service

Stack Money is a free, ad-free, read-only information dashboard that aggregates publicly available financial data (currency rates, gold/silver prices, stock indices, crypto prices, fuel prices, FD rates, etc.) and presents them in a single view. Optional features such as price alerts and a morning digest require email-based sign-in.

2. Not financial / investment advice

Nothing on this website constitutes financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. Stack Money is not a SEBI-registered investment advisor, research analyst, mutual-fund distributor, broker, or banker. Data is provided “as is” for general information only.

Always consult a qualified, registered professional before making any investment, savings, lending, or insurance decision. Past performance does not guarantee future results. Markets are risky; you may lose money.

3. Data accuracy

We aggregate data from third-party sources (IBJA, Yahoo Finance, KuCoin, Goodreturns, RBI, RSS feeds, etc.). While we make reasonable efforts to keep this data current and accurate:

Data may be delayed by minutes to hours depending on the source's refresh cadence.
Sources may be unavailable, change format, or contain errors. When that happens we display cached or seed values that may be stale.
Stack Money does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, timeliness, or reliability of any data shown.
Always verify a price with the underlying authoritative source (your bank, broker, exchange, jeweller, fuel pump) before acting on it.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Scrape, copy, or republish bulk data from Stack Money without written permission.
Attempt to bypass rate limits, authentication, or otherwise interfere with the service.
Use the service to send spam, phishing, or fraudulent communications.
Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code beyond what is publicly served to your browser.
Use the service for any unlawful purpose under Indian or applicable law.

5. Account & alerts

If you sign in (via magic link), you are responsible for the email address on file. We reserve the right to:

Set reasonable limits on the number of alerts and digest subscriptions per user.
Throttle or pause alerts if data sources are unreliable, to avoid sending you incorrect notifications.
Suspend or terminate accounts that abuse the service.

6. Intellectual property

The Stack Money brand, design, code (excluding open-source dependencies), curated calculators, copy and SEO landing pages are owned by us. Underlying market data is owned by the respective source. You may share screenshots and individual data points for non-commercial, personal use with attribution.

7. Third-party links

The site links to news articles, source pages, broker sites, etc. We do not control or endorse those external sites and are not responsible for their content, privacy practices, or availability.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Stack Money, its operators, contributors and affiliates shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or exemplary loss arising from:

Your reliance on data shown on the site.
Investment, trading, savings, lending or other financial decisions you make.
Service unavailability, data errors, missed alerts, or delivery failures.
Any third-party content linked from the site.

Our aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall not exceed INR 100.

9. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold Stack Money harmless from any claim or demand made by any third party due to or arising out of your breach of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the service or delete your account at any time. We may discontinue the service or terminate your access at our discretion, with or without notice, if these Terms are violated.

11. Governing law & jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bengaluru, Karnataka.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top reflects the latest version. Continued use after the effective date constitutes acceptance.
